Be flexible about air travel

Being creative and flexible with your travel plans can be the difference between attending Expo – or missing a transformative 4 days with your nevus family! 

  • Take a red eye. Are overnight flights fun? No! But they can save you money and you won't have to pay for accommodations on the night you travel. 

  • Fly a budget airline. Frontier, Spirit, Southwest, Jet Blue and other value or regional airlines can save you big $.

  • Mix and match. Be on the lookout for lowest fares and be open to taking one airline to the event and another back home.

  • Price flights using an aggregator.  Kayak, Priceline and similar sites can help you find the most affordable days, times, airports, routes and airports.

  • Try a new airport. Driving an extra hour to a different airport can save you hundreds of dollars!

  • Track flight prices. Use the Hopper app, Google travel alerts and similar tools to find better prices and optimal times to purchase.

 

Be open-minded and determined!

  • Conference is worth a long car drive, bus ride and other creative approaches to travel!

  • Load up the family truckster and hit the open road! If you're traveling with the family, particularly if you have a second adult with whom to split the driving, taking a car ride to Conference can save you hundreds of dollars – or more! The only costs you'll need to cover are gas because parking at the hotel is FREE.

  • Consider bus or train travel. Especially if you're traveling from the southeast or east coast, train or bus travel can be a good choice.

    FAQs can be added to any page on your site or to your Wix mobile app, giving access to members on the go.
  • Which option do I choose, Individual or Family?
    Individual membership is for any single person who wishes to register independently. This also applies to individuals within a family who prefer to make their own, separate contributions. Family membership applies to any household of 2 or more. This may include partners/spouses, families with children, or people who make joint contributions, etc. Please note, membership is not only for those with CMN!
  • Is membership free?
    Yes, we do offer a free Membership option. However, you are granted access to additional content, services, and events by becoming a Supporting Member via a small annual fee. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely heavily on individual donations (which in the US are tax-deductible). Please consider becoming a supporting member to help us support you!
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • How do I access my member benefits?
    Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email with further details. Please note that you must be a registered member to access private social media and regional groups. If you experience any issues accessing your member benefits, contact whitneycasal@nevus.org.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
